Well Paul, I hope you get to read this. I have been waiting excitedly for
about ten days for Terman's book to arrive. I thought that maybe you were
waiting for the check to clear, maybe mail transfer from Canada to the U.S. is
slow, I just didn't know. But you know why the book never made it don't you?
It's because you never got the money!!!
I know this because I got the letter back today for INSUFFICIENT POSTAGE!
It is postmarked Aug 9, 1994. Just another aspect of the U.S. snail.
I will take the letter to the post office tomorrow to maKE sure that I get it r
right this time. Also, sorry for posting here, but I have lost your e-mail
address. I would really appreciate it if you would send it to me again...
Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the mix up,
Dan Kline <t230579@univscvm.csd.scarolina.edu>

In the SF Bay area an ATV repeater retransmits some of the flight(s) as
time permits. One ATV/R output is on CABLE channel 58 and the other is
om 2.4 Ghz.
It can be done!
Best of luck.

Subject: FCC Exam Study Software
To: info-hams@ucsd.edu
Back when I was studying for my Tech ticket, I used a shareware software
program (for MS-DOS) which contained the entire FCC exam pool and would
create sample exams from the pool for the various elements. I think the
program was called "HAMPOOLS", or something like that. I must have deleted
the program because it's nowhere to be found on my disk, and in any event, I
think the questions have changed since then.
Does anyone know where I can obtain this program, or another shareware
program like it, either via FTP on Internet or Fidonet FREQ? (I'd prefer a
direct reply via email, but you can also post it to this newsgroup since I'm
sure others would be interested, too.)
